My name is Tobin Brooks. I’m currently a senior Music Education and Oboe Performance major at West Texas A&M University. I served as a drum major for the Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps in 2022 and 2023. I additionally served as drum major at West Texas A&M, and served on the leadership team for the Canyon High School Band. I am currently working with the Brass Staff at Arsenal Drum and Bugle Corps Brass staff for the 2024 season. I am looking forward to working as an Instructor for the Drum Major Leadership Academy. Helping others achieve their best both as a musician, and as a person, is what I hope to achieve here at DMLA. I am forever grateful for the life lessons that the activity has taught me and hope to share those ideals with the world.
