Drum Major Tech is designed for high school drum majors. Teams are paired with an inspiring instructor that matches the program’s style and goals based on the following questionnaire:

Yes! Directors may request a particular instructor or can be paired with one that matches their program’s unique focuses and style. Click here to learn more.

After registering, students will be sent a general availability form. This will allow instructors to easily schedule tech sessions based on each student’s availability.  Sessions will take place bi-weekly via Zoom and cover time-relevant topics including band camp prep, score study, salutes, competition prep, and more. The cost of this program is just $500 for the full season, making it an affordable investment a drum major’s development. Programs can complete tuition through a debit/credit card, mailed check, purchase order, or other.

Sessions occur bi-weekly between July 1st and November 1st, allowing techs to teach the most important topics at that point in the season (ex. Band Camp Prep in July, Tempo Memorization in August, Competition Tips in October, etc.) Students will receive additional exercises, resources, and optional challenge assignments between each session to help continue their development.
