Nicholas has over 5 years of marching arts experience, with two seasons experience serving in a drum major role. Nicholas began his marching experience at Fairhope High School in Alabama where he served as drum major for one year. Also in high school, Nick marched 2 years at Southwind Drum and Bugle Corps on baritone and euphonium. After this, he served as drum major for the Southern Knights Drum and Bugle Corps in Birmingham, Alabama. Nicholas is currently pursuing a degree in broadcast meteorology with a minor in music at the University of South Alabama. He also is a member of the Jaguar Marching Band on bass trombone. His passion for bass trombone, conducting, and music in general is what inspires him to serve as an instructor at DMLA. He believes that if the students he works with can get excited about what they do as a conductor, musician, and leader, they can achieve and exceed their ambitions.
