Maria Rottersman is a 2018 graduate of Naperville Central High School, where she served as drum major for two years. She currently is a mellophone player and squad leader for the Husky Marching Band at the University of Washington in Seattle, where she plans to graduate in 2021 with a degree in plant biology and minor in music. She has marched in both the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade as part of the 2017 Macy’s Great American Marching Band and Rose Parade as part of the 2018-19 Husky Marching Band. She is an active brother of the Gamma Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi, and served as Social Committee Co-Head in 2019-20. Maria is a proud alum of Smith Walbridge Clinics, where she attended as a camper for two years and an intern for one, earning her First Class Certification in mace, corps, and traditional styles. She is a strong believer in servant leadership and makes equity and empathy her top priorities as a leader.
