Kelley Powell

Kelley served as Drum Major with the University of South Carolina Marching Band. She is a graduate of Waubonsie Valley High School in Aurora, IL where she served as Drum Major for two years. She also serves as a part of the Drum Major Instructional Staff at Smith Walbridge Clinics. Kelley previously worked with the Dreher High School Blue Devil Band as a Woodwind and Visual Technician. As a Music Education major, she believes in hands-on educational experiences that incorporate social-emotional learning. At DMLA, Kelley is passionate about developing teaching skills and positive leadership qualities in all students, regardless of experience.
