We are thrilled to announce the advancement of Jordan Lobsiger to Director of the Drum Major Leadership Academy!

Jordan is a graduate of Xavier University, where she was a recipient of the university’s Gold X-Key Leadership Award for exemplary leadership and Commuter Leadership Award for outstanding involvement and achievement. On the podium, Jordan served as head drum major for Cincinnati Tradition Drum & Bugle Corps for 5 consecutive seasons, leading the corps to 2 world champion finishes and the corps’ highest score in history. Jordan was among the first instructors to join the Drum Major Leadership Academy in its inaugural year and has been instrumental to the success of the organization and its students every day since. She led the advancement of numerous organizational efforts, serving as head of leadership curriculum, head of student experience, and volunteering far beyond her role to benefit nearly every part of the organization.

“I am excited to see the fresh ideas, expanded opportunities, and energizing passion Jordan will continue to bring in her expanded role.” says Joshua Hecht, former Director. “DMLA is an organization that continues to grow and evolve as we help drum majors to help drum majors; inspire leaders to inspire leaders; and create a thriving community where everyone can learn, grow, contribute, and succeed.”

Please join us in congratulating Jordan as she advances into this role and advances our mission of educating and inspiring drum majors nationwide!
