______________________

DMLA was looking for a unifying symbol that embodied our central values and looked forward towards the future of our craft.

The use of the salute denotes respect. Respect for our students, fellow performers, programs, directors, and the marching community as a whole.

The upgrade from the traditional helmet to the Apollo shako signifies our dedication to the future. Future conductors, future designs and concepts… future leaders.

Serenity was created to become a peaceful beacon for the future of DMLA.

The future is bright!
