Dawson Burnes is an experienced conductor, musician, composer, and arranger currently based out of Georgia. He is a two-year veteran of the Southwind Drum & Bugle Corps, a one-year veteran of the Music City Drum & Bugle Corps, and is currently a conductor for the Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps. Dawson is a music education major at the University of Georgia with prior educational experience including being a conducting/education intern with the Model Middle School Concert Band (Rome, GA) and a mellophone technician for the Woodland High School Band in (Cartersville, GA). Dawson is extremely excited to continue inspiring young leaders and conductors as well as share his passion for conducting, leadership, and education with DMLA!
