Christian is the World-Class Champion of the 2021 National Drum Major Competition. He is an alumni of Arkansas State University, where he served as mellophone section leader and assistant drum major, along with many other leadership positions. He has been on staff with a total of 7 different band programs – instructing brass, saxophones, visual, drum majors, and leadership. He is an alumni of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia and Tau Beta Sigma, and served as a brass captain and conductor in high school. Christian works as a freelance music teacher, performer, substitute band director, and businessman. He is thrilled to be joining the DMLA instructional team!
