Blake studies Music Education at the University of Southern Mississippi. Born and raised in Pensacola, He is a graduate of Tate High School where he was a Drum Major. He has served as principal trumpet in the all-county band, Tate High Schools Wind Ensemble, and lead trumpet in Tate’s Jazz Band. Blake marched with Southwind Drum & Bugle Corps from 2015-2018, The Cadets Drum & Bugle Corps in 2019, and is a member of The 2020 Bluecoats. At Southwind he held the leadership positions of section leader in 2017 and assistant drum major in 2018. Outside of band, Blake is an active volunteer at The Miracle League of Pensacola, and is an active member in the Hillcrest Church Orchestra. He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in 2016 and held many different leadership positions in his troop. He hopes to continue developing and inspiring High School and Drum Corps Programs for many years to come.
