Aidan Lerner

Aidan concluded his third season of Drum Corps in 2018 as the Head Drum Major with Spirit of Atlanta. Prior, Aidan served as Drum Major with Southwind Drum and Bugle Corps. Currently, Aidan is student teaching at the high school level in Cobb County, Georgia. Aidan will be graduating from Kennesaw State University in May of 2021 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education. A former Drum Major with the Fayette County High School Marching Band, Aidan continues to take his leadership and conducting expertise beyond the podium as he works with several state renowned high school marching band programs as a Drum Major Instructor, Leadership Coordinator, Visual Technician, and Ensemble Timing Coordinator. He is a strong advocate for servant and “lift up” leadership and believes “If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more, you are a leader.” Aidan is thrilled to be a part of the DMLA team again and bring his extensive conducting and leadership experiences to the Drum Major Leadership Academy.
