Michael Antonacci

Michael Antonacci serves at the Head of Leadership Curriculum for Drum Major Leadership Academy. Michael is a Music Education Major at West Chester University of Pennsylvania where he served in the INCOMPARABLE Golden Rams Marching Band as a mellophone section leader and later as Drum Major. He also currently has the honor of serving as the Assistant Drum Major for the 19-time DCA World Champion Reading Buccaneers. Michael has previous corps experience with Fusion Core in DCA where in his latter two summers he served as mellophone section leader, and as Assistant Drum Major. Michael chose to apply for DMLA in order to expand his knowledge of, and his abilities in his passion for positively impacting students through effective leadership, and positive mindset training. Through these, Michael seeks to impart important life skills and lessons that students can take far beyond the band room or marching band field, into any aspect of their lives.
